The location (about 5 miles northeast of Conway) will be provided after registration.
Course Overview
Purpose: To introduce students to the language of sign—the physical evidence left by a missing person, fleeing suspect, or animal—and to build the observational mindset required for accurate, reliable tracking in real-world operations.
Duration: 8 hours (classroom + field)
Target Audience: Fire service, law enforcement, search and rescue, emergency responders, security personnel, and any civilian who wants to sharpen situational awareness and learn foundational tracking skills.
Outcome: By the end of the day, students will be able to identify, document, and follow a short sign line under supervision and understand how these core skills progress into the 3-Day Applied Tracking & Signcutting course.
